By default, DocCare categorize documents and manages document access scope by enterprise structures automatically. This is based on GES Model.
Under a lot of circumstance, in a project or an activity, members from different departments will work on a set of documents collaboratively. By Using DocCare Workspace, users can manage documents for projects, activities, meetings or documents across departments.
Enter resource view of DocCare. Click [All Workspaces] node in the left pane of [Resources] tab. Then click button [New Workspace] in the right pane. You will see the page below:

Input workspace name (Project name) and workspace description (project description).
Select sharing type of the workspace. There are three sharing types of a DocCare workspace.
After selecting sharing type, you can check default permissions for the workspace members.
Finally, click button [Submit] to create the workspace.
After you created a 'Workspace Member Only' type workspace, you can add users as the workspace members. In the workspace information page, click [Members] tab to manage workspace members.
Click button [Edit] to edit the workspace members, then click button [Add Member], DocCare will pop up a user selection dialog. Check the users you want to add to the workspace then click button [Done] in the dialog, the selected users will be added to the workspace.
If you check the box in the [Is Owner] field, the user will have right to manage workspace members too.
Click btton [Save] to save workspace members. See figure below:

After you created a workspace, you can create workspace folders just like you create normal folder.
Now your workspace members can start their work, to add their materials to the workspace.Add Documents to Workpsace.
DocCare will record all events happened on the workspace automatically. See figure below:
