DocCare provides a quick and convenient way for user to search document by any keywords.
DocCare limits the search scope for users who are from different departments. So even if two users from different department search document with same keywords, they might get different search results.
DocCare supports full-text search of the following document formats: MS Office documents (doc, xls, ppt), PDF, plain text files, web pages, rtf files, RFC822 emails and DocCare template documents.
For other document formats, DocCare will search keywords in title, alias, descriptions, author, extension and user-defined attributes.
You can input the keywords directly at the right upper corner of the resources view, then press 'Enter'. The search result will display at the lower part of the page. See figure below:
You can see a set of filter options above the document search result. The filters include time, file types and document status. See figure below:

You can click on the time link to filter the search result by time. Or you can check the box for file types and document status then click button [OK] at the right side to filter the result by file types and status.
