Dashboard Introduction

DocCare has two types of dashboards. System dashboard and personal dashboard.
System Dashboard is used to post public resource and documents. One DocCare instance only has one system dashboard. All DocCare registered users can access system dashboard. Only privileged user can add porlet to dashboard, modify dashboard layout and portlet parameters.
Personal Dashboard is owned by user privately. User can create one or more personal dashboard.
Generally, a user will be redirect to the system dashboard page after he sign in DocCare. System dashboard and personal dashboard provide quick entrance for users to get into resources and documents.

You can add the following portlets to the dashboard
  • Announcement
  • User Message List
  • Workspace Document List
  • Quick Search
  • Recently Visited Documents
  • Recently Uploaded Documents
  • My Checkout Documents
  • Content of text, html, jpeg, gif and DocCare template document.
  • Store query search result
  • User message search result
  • User search result
  • DocCare Quick Contact
You can do the following operations on the dashboard
  • Add/Remote portlets.
  • Collapse/Expand portlets.
  • Adjust layout.
  • Change dashboard settings.
  • Change portlet settings.
