Check In / Check Out and Version Control

DocCare check-in and check-out are used to provide a mechanism to avoid the conflict raised by more users editing a document simultaneously.
Also, upon check-in and check-out mechanism, DocCare provides version control to enable users to get early document revisions.
Check In/Check Out and Version Control are all document protection techniques.

Check-In and Check-Out promise that, at one moment, there must be only one person who is editing the document.
If a user is going to edit a document, he must check it out first.
After he checked out the document and finished editing the document, only he can check in this document. Other users cannot check in this document.
The check-in and check-out process are display in the figure below:

Note: You will check out a document automatically if you edit it online (Rich text or plain text documents). When you save the contents, DocCare automatically check in this document.
