Add Custom Attributes to Document

 

Besides static document attributes such as name, alias, code, version, modified time, status, description and creator, DocCare allows user to create custom document attributes.
Before you add a custom attributes to a document, you should create the attribute first. Detail to seeCreate User-Defined Dcoument Attributes.


Add Attributes when Upload

When you start to upload a document, you can add the user-defined attributes to the document. See figure below:

After the document is uploaded to DocCare, the custom attributes are added to the document. See figure below:

Modify Custom Document Attributes

Click on the icon Edit Icon next to the user-defined document attribute, you can edit the attribute value.
Click link [Save] after you have change the attribute value, the new attribute will be save. Click link [Cancel] will not save the change.


Delete Custom Document Attributes

Click on the icon Delete Icon next to the user-defined document attribute, DocCare will pop up a dialog for confirming the delete operation.
Click button [OK] in the dialog to delete the attribute. Click button [Cancel] to cancel the operation.
