Job

DocCare2 has two kinds of jobs: One Time Job and Cron Jobs.

One Time Job

One time job executes only once. It is scheduled automatically by DocCare2 as soon as a user submitted a one time job task.
DocCare2 creates One Time Jobs for operations which may spend a long time running. Currently DocCare2 supports the following One Time Jobs:

• Batch Import files from Remote File System
• Backup
• Delete folder

The execution result and status of each one time job is saved in an administration report, which is stored in the administration folder and workspace.

Cron Job

Cron Job executes regularly every a defined period of time to perform a certain action. It is used to monitor system health or do some checking.

Currently, DocCare2 only allows user to submit One Time Job. The Management of Cron Job is not supported.
