Document Access

To keep business document more secure, DocCare2 defines document access and operation privilege to protect the documents. A user can access a document means that this user can get the document’s properties, including document title, size, version, creator, location, last modified time etc. However, if the user can download/modify/delete this document is decided by the operation privileges.

Document Operation

Document operation defines the further action a user can do on a document.
For department documents, there are four operation privileges, Download, Download Revision, Update and Delete.
For workspace documents, there are three operation privileges, Download, Update and Delete.

Operation Privilege

The operation privilege has a one-one relationship between each user and each document.
For each department document, the operation privileges are assigned to each department user.
For each workspace document, the operation privileges are assigned to each workspace member.
